The Top 5 Items You Absolutely Need For Your Family Christmas Card
Posted on October 7th, 2018 by Jill Wynbecker
If you're like me, Christmas cards are a strict ritual. Like putting up the tree, setting out the milk and cookies, hanging the stocks over the mantle and wrapping the mistletoe around the banister, sending out Christmas cards has been a tradition since I was a kid and has continued with our family.

We spent a few days gathering some of the most adorable outfits that are sure to spice up your Christmas card. Here are our top picks:
1). MATCHING T-SHIRTS by COLE + CODDLE
Cole + Coddle is our go-to for novelty family t-shirts. And we're LOVING their matching Christmas t-shirts this year! The perfect way to make this year's Christmas cards priceless. The beauty is, in addition to adult sizes, their shirts come in baby, youth and toddler sizes, so you can outfit your entire family, no-matter how small or large. Their baby onesies are especially precious if you've got a newborn!

We were also happy to hear that Cole + Coddle is a family-run business with locations in Brooklyn and Georgia. The shirts we received were high quality (especially the Toddler tees, those seemed extra-soft). The adult shirts were unisex fit, so the men's fit true-to-size and the women's were a bit oversized, but that's what we were looking for.

Last year we got SO MANY texts from friends and family when they got our Christmas cards. They couldn't get enough and everyone asked us where we got them. So we figured we add them as number 1 on our list.

2). FLANNEL PAJAMA BOTTOMS by PAJAMAGRAM
If you're going to match on a Christmas photo, you've GOT to have matching flannel pj's...duh! You can't really complete the matching family look without these. We checked out a bunch of different retailers, but we found the best ones here. They had the best selection of sizes (we needed sizes for our 6 month old) and the pajamas all seemed super soft. We didn't wear them much, so we don't know how they'll hold up over time, but the quality was really nice at first wear.
3). JOY PRINTABLE CHRISTMAS CARDS by LITTLE BEE GRAPHICS
If you're really looking to go the extra mile, these customizable Christmas card are downright adorable. The great part is you can order the printable version which you can simply print on your computer or you can order them to your door (in large quantities). You can also fully customize the card with verbiage and colors of your liking. If you're on a budget, simply buy the digital file and print them yourself!
4). KNIT ELF XMAS HATS by AVA GIRL DESIGNS
We love new takes on old ideas, so we had to get these XMas hats for our 2 little ones. They are handmade from yarn, so they're SUPER soft and quite warm and cozy. These come in any size you need, from newborn up to adult men's and women's. These would steal the show in a Christmas card or a family photo on Christmas morning. These are guaranteed to rack up Instagram likes during the holidays!
5). MATCHING UGLY SWEATERS by FAMFAMSHIRTS
Ugly sweaters are a seasonal classic in our home. Luckily, these aren't really sweaters and they're not really ugly. They're good quality crewneck sweatshirts with creative "ugly sweater" prints on them. This is maybe the easiest way to get the family looking festive for your Christmas cards and holiday photos. Plus you can actually wear them more then once, since they're not sweaters. I mean, this isn't the 70s :) . We ordered 4 of these to try them out, and they arrived really quickly. Certainly did the trick!
